Born 1953 in Dortmund/FRG, studied biology and geoscience at universities in Cologne, Muenster/Westf. and Graz. Between 1985 and 2013 she was teaching and researching as assistant at the institute for plant science (palynology) at the university of Graz. Now she continues to be head of the project “Pollenwarndienst für die Steiermark”. As representative of public relations at the institute for plant sciences she organizes tours through greenhouses and exhibitions. She is board member of the society of friends of the botanical gardens.
